Writing an argumentative essay may seem a challenging job. What is special and difficult about it? The purpose of this type of essay is to convince a reader rather than to inform. It is designed to present a disputable theme.

It is the most common form of an argumentative essay. It means an essay consists of an introduction, three main body paragraphs , and a conclusion. –       provoking an interest;
–       topical.

Main Essay Body

Presenting both views of the problem and announcing your opinion afterwards.
This way is more useful if your readers are not well-acquainted with the problem.
Stating your point of view at the beginning.
This way is more useful if the topic of your essay is well-known to your readers.
Both supporting and opposing arguments should be supplied with evidence such as facts, the author’s observations and investigations, experts’ articles, statistic etc. The position of the author should be clear and well-reasoned.
There are two types of arguments used in an argumentative essay:
Inductive reasoning argument implies the use of specific examples to demonstrate a wide conclusion.
Deductive reasoning argument includes the use of general ideas to make conclusions about specific cases).
Useful hints: The pros and cons should be stated objectively no matter what the author’s attitude is. There should be no emotions, just facts. Collecting and analyzing all possible information about the topic of your argumentative essay is the key to realistic trustworthy summary of all arguments.
Gradual transition that logically moves from one reason to another is the key point to writing a convincing argument. Summing up each of the paragraphs and putting it in the context of the general idea makes the essay consistent and easy to understand. Using smooth transition helps your readers to follow your thoughts easily.
The main thesis statement of the essay is stated again, using different words and phrases. The closing paragraph should convince the readers that the author’s stand is true and rightful. At the same time, it should motivate them for further reflection and interest to the question.
Useful hints: the conclusion should conclude a final remark. It should be impressive and persuasive, making  the people with the opposite viewpoint feel comfortable with it.
